My Story

Providing Services from Diverse Experiences

I was born in New Delhi, India and then raised in Toronto, Canada and now living in Atlanta, which has provided me with the opportunity to work with individuals of diverse backgrounds from all walks of life. I moved to Georgia to pursue my PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia (go Dawgs!) and went on to complete my internship and fellowship with the Emory University School of Medicine. Upon licensure, I obtained my Board Certification from ABPP in Clinical Psychology.

Prior to starting my career in private practice, I was on faculty at the Mercer University School of Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences. I continue to provide clinical teaching and supervision to psychiatry residents at Piedmont Healthcare in Macon, GA and also serve as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at the Emory University School of Medicine.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my family, trying new restaurants and catching up on all the latest reality TV shows!
